Chief Development Officer (CDO)
North Coast Community Homes (NCCH) develops and maintains safe, comfortable, and affordable high-quality housing quality for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental illness, and other disabilities.
Community-based housing enables persons with disabilities to live just like anyone else — safely in their own community and in their own home. NCCH works with local realtors in six Northeast Ohio counties to find the best possible properties for special needs housing.
Reporting to the President & CEO, and working with a team of talented and dedicated nonprofit executives, the Chief Development Officer (CDO) is responsible for NCCH’s fundraising strategy, planning, and implementation. In addition, this position oversees the organization’s marketing and public relations function.
Together with a talented staff and a dedicated board of trustees, the CDO has the tremendous opportunity to raise significant resources to provide more affordable high-quality housing to individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be strategic, visionary, and creative with a solid background in organizational advancement and fundraising and a history of closing major gifts.
